Course Descriptions and Membership Levels

Bennett Academy Courses are based on our students’ goals. Courses vary in intensity based on the Level you register.

Hobbyist levels:

1.PRIMARY LEVEL is for our hobbyist, who is just learning for fun, and cultural enrichment. Lessons are innovative and thorough, but in a no pressure, relaxed environment.

2. DELUXE LEVEL for our hobbyists who love to perform in community theatre, recitals, and concerts, and would love to build their performance skills. The private and group classes are moderately challenging and innovative.

3. HOMESCHOOL PACKAGE- specially designed for our members who homeschool their children. There are private music lessons, and courses in Creative Writing, Music Composition/Songwriting, Beginner Film, our Homeschool program Lessons starts at 10am to 2:30pm Monday to Thursday.

Professional Level

4. Film & Theater Training Ensemble-is for the future actor, singer and musician whose goal is to make their talent a lifelong occupation, and become successful players in the entertainment industry. The Group classes in this level are intensive 1 and a half to 2 hour classes.

1.Primary Membership

  • Ages 4-Adult

  • Great for Beginners of All Ages, who want to learn music, and acting for fun, overcoming shyness, and cultural enrichment,

  • 30 minute private class in piano, guitar,

  • or 60 minute Group Theatre class

    Ages 8 to 17 the hobbyist actor works on speech, and confidence

  • Acting Schedule: TBH

    • Beginners- ages 9-12:

      Teen Group Ages 13-16

    • Adult Group Ages 18 to Adult

  • Perform in our fun (No Pressure) Fall and Summer Studio Recital

2. DELUXE MEMBERSHIP-for 45min lesson/or 60min group class

  • Ages 10-Adult

  • For the avid hobbyist who loves to perform

  • 45 minute private lessons in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Drums, Strings OR 90 minute group lessons in Creative Writing, Music Composition, Acting

  • All Levels from beginner to advanced are taught

  • One Master Class

  • Student can choose to perform in our stress free Recital or audition for professional recital in June.

3. HOmeschool Packages:

. HOMESCHOOLERS- specially timed lessons and classes for our homeschooled children. 10am to 2pm on School Days. Our classes work as a supplement to their curriculum.

*PLEASE NOTE- POPULAR CLASS AND LESSON COMBINATIONS-Many of our students who are not in the Premier Membership will like to combine classes and lessons from the Primary and Deluxe levels. professional Level

4. Film & Theater Training Ensemble

All aspiring Professional are asked to register at TheTalentDen.com.

There are three categories for FTTE Members: (formerly known as Premiere Level)

  • Premiere Music-one hour private music lessons for professional work or

  • Premiere Acting-90 minute classes for actors for professional work

  • Premiere Performance combo -45 minute vocal lesson and 90 minute acting class.

  • Premiere Crew/Writers-Writers Group Production Class- Writers work with coaches to create theater and film productions for the school year season

*Requirements Actors ages 10 to adult and includes a 90 minute acting class

This is a great membership level for students of all ages who are looking to work professionally in the performing arts or entertainment industry. The classes and private lessons are geared to such endeavors, and offer professional performance opportunities, on stage, film, concerts with AGENT REPRESENTATION. Please discuss this with your children before they apply to this membership level.

Auditions are required to join these ensembles. One comedic and dramatic monologue

  • Professional Program

  • Ages 8-adult-For aspiring professionals in music production, theater and film

  • 90 minute group Acting classes in Acting/Theater, and/or Creative Writing.

  • Acting students perform in Winter and Summer Theater productions, and film projects

  • Music students perform in professional Summer Recital

  • 8 week Rehearsals are also work as additional classes where actors learn to sing and dance as a musical cast.

  • Agent Representation for paid work in commercials, films and theater productions for qualified students

  • Two Master Classes with accomplished musicians, actors and singers

  • One Performing Arts Field Trip

  • (please note-Covid 19 has greatly affected our Theater performances, but we will be back to performing this Fall and Spring 2023-2024

Payment Information

  • Note: All fees must be paid by pre-authorized debit or pre-authorized credit cards at time of registration.

  • Auto-debit from bank account and credit card payments are only available for regular auto-charge recurring monthly fees. Credit cards are not accepted for individual in-person payments for lessons each month.

  • Tuition fees subject to change at any time

  • We offer sibling discounts

  • We offer scholarships to students who have attended Bennett Academy for at least ONE YEAR and show exceptional improvement in that year.

There are only two payment plans-

1. Monthly by pre-authorized debit or credit cards

2. Semester Payment- based on 20-21 week school year. Please request Weekly Lessons Breakdown Form to see the payment Schedule

Take A Look At A Few Of Our Alumni

Chris and Kevin Jackson (pictured here center and right,with their brother Kurt) are some of our most successful alumni.  Chris, a prolific singer and songwriter has written for Toni Braxton, Enrique Iglesias, and R&B crooner Tank, to name a few.  He has toured with some of the biggest acts in the hip hop and R&B industry.  Kevin Jackson, fashion stylist and entrepreneur, has performed with Nick Jonas, Kirk Franklin, and has directed his own gospel group Chosen By God.  The Jackson brothers started with Bennett Academy as vocal students and members of the kids gospel group Jabulani.
